June 24th, 2022, was my 35th birthday. It was also the day that the Supreme Court of the United States threw out precedent, popular opinion, and the rights of Americans to decide what happens to their own bodies.
I drew this pen and ink picture of hundreds of people voicing their despair in front of a fenced off SCOTUS to mark that day. The message is clear: Abortion is healthcare and it's none of your damn business.
This matted giclée print is produced with a pigment-based ink that can last as long as 200 years without fading.
